Kaylie Bullock- Principal Artist
Kaylie Bullock received her early training at Kansas Dance Academy under the direction of Diane Gans and Lisa Long. She attended the School of Classical and Contemporary Dance at Texas Christian University on scholarship, graduating with honors. Ms. Bullock went on to dance professionally with Common Thread Contemporary, Storling Dance Theater and Ad Deum Dance Company before joining Central Illinois Ballet in 2016. During her career she has had the privilege to dance many original works, including Mona Enna-Storling’s full-length Underground, Jennifer Medina’s Cognitive Dissonance, and Randall Flynn’s Inspirito. Some of her favorite featured roles at Central Illinois Ballet include Lucy in Dracula, Black swan pas de deux, Cinderella as the title role, both Christine and La Carlotta in the Phantom of the Opera, Myrtle in Gatsby, Edith Frank in Anne Frank, Dew Drop and Snow Queen in Nutcracker. She also teaches for CIB’s affiliated school and has choreographed several works for the company. She is thrilled to be in her sixth season with Central Illinois Ballet.
