At Cornerstone Academy, our mission is to offer the highest quality of professional dance instruction while adhering to a curriculum that teaches formation of character and stresses standards of excellence applicable to all areas of life.  Known for its focus on building strong ballet technique and artistic expression as a foundation for a well-rounded dancer, Cornerstone Academy's training instills a quality of thought and action that enhances lives of all the students regardless of their ultimate careers. 

Cornerstone students travel from all areas of Central Illinois from the Quad Cities to Bloomington and everywhere in between to train with the academy's professional teaching staff. Cornerstone's instructors come from Central Illinois Ballet's company of professional dancers hailing from dance companies, university dance programs, and professional training programs all over the United States. Staff members are dedicated to teaching with high quality standards while creating a nurturing environment for dancers and their families. 

Cornerstone Academy alumni have gone on to dance with top ballet companies, universities and Broadway shows throughout the United States and Europe.
