Iliana Rich

Apprentice

Iliana Rich is a dancer and film production artist from Taylorsville, Kentucky. She holds a BFA in Ballet and Contemporary Dance from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, where she trained under the direction of Shauna Steele. During her time at CCM, she performed a variety of roles in both classical and contemporary works. Some of her favorite performances include Vincent, Iris, and the Starry Night by Qi Jiang, An American in Paris by Peter Davison, Coppélia, Swan Lake, and David Parson’s Sleep Study.


Iliana most recently performed as a Company Artist with Lexington Ballet, where she expanded her professional repertoire and performed neoclassical and contemporary works by Kevin Jenkins. She has also had the opportunity to perform internationally at the DAP Festival in Pietrasanta, Italy.


In addition to her dance career, Iliana has experience both on and behind the camera, working on film and television productions including the Cannes-selected film Kaet Might Die, A Place at the Table, Queen of the Ring, Lifetime productions, and various independent projects. She is very passionate about exploring the intersection of dance and film.


Prior to college, Iliana trained at Louisville Academy of Dance under Kristen Wenrick and is a 2020 alumna of the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts Dance program. She is excited for her first season with Central Illinois Ballet!
